When the last episode of Friday Night SmackDown aired, Daniel Bryan cut Roman Reigns promo and challenged him to WWE Fastlane title match. Daniel Bryan alleged that Roman Reigns beat him at Elimination Chamber because they weren’t on a level playing field given Bryan had just won the Elimination Chamber on SmackDown.

Jey Uso ended up attacking Daniel Bryan and WWE hinted that Daniel Bryan needed to beat Jey Uso in the main event of the series to secure a title match against Roman Reigns at Fastlane. Meanwhile, Edge spoke with Adam Pearce backstage to feature a tag team match between him. Edge and Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns and Jey Uso at Fastlane. The proposal was left hanging as Daniel Bryan still had a chance to beat Jey Uso and win the title match at Fastlane.

Edge and Daniel Bryan met backstage before the main event, where Edge wondered who would come to WrestleMania with the title to face him. Daniel Bryan noted that it would be a lot of fun to talk about odds, although the most important thing was to beat Jey Uso to find out. Edge and Bryan did not speak further, although it is speculated that this reunion, adding to the double disqualification from the main event, the tag team fight has a good chance of being on the sub-map of the next PPV.
