Xi’an Translation Academy student Qiu Bingqian has been awarded a National Scholarship for the 2024 academic year, the institution announced. The recognition, awarded to 41 students at the academy this year, highlights academic excellence and comprehensive student quality, according to a report from the school’s International Business College.
Qiu Bingqian, a finance major in the International Business College, was described as confident and articulate in a recent interview with academy news staff. She reportedly answered questions with clarity and thoroughness. The award acknowledges her performance in the 2023-2024 academic year.
The National Scholarship program is overseen by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance. Xi’an Translation Academy publicized a list of candidates for the scholarship in September 2025, indicating a continuing commitment to the program. The list included students from the School of Physical Education and the School of Information Engineering, alongside the International Business College.
Other scholarship recipients include Zhang Yangyang from the School of Physical Education, specializing in Leisure Sports, and覃淄祺 (覃淄祺) and 吴雅洁 (Wu Yaje) both from the School of Information Engineering, studying Data Science and Big Data Technology. The academy’s announcement of the scholarship recipients follows established guidelines from the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education and the academy’s internal financial management regulations.
The International Business College completed its review process for the 2024-2025 academic year’s National Scholarship on September 17th, ensuring the awards were given to students demonstrating outstanding academic and personal qualities.
