YellowStraps, new voice of the Belgian urban scene

Delicate, sensual and groovy, the compositions of YellowStraps seduce from the first notes. The effect of the clear and inhabited voice of Yvan Murenzi, just like the fine productions of this young Belgian of Rwandan origin. After several EPs celebrated by the press and his peers, the project is finally available in an album published by Universal France. In the meantime, ten years have passed. Ten years shared with his brother Alban, with whom he piloted YellowStraps for a long time. Guitarist and co-composer, the latter decided to leave the adventure in the middle of the pandemic, put off by the obligations imposed by the music industry – promotion, network presence, contracts, etc. Since then, Yvan Murenzi has been handling the project solo, even if some tracks on the album were partly designed by his brother.
