The artist’s appearance and role have changed noticeably over the years of her career.
Tatyana Peltzer became famous already in adulthood. She performed roles in “Soldier Ivan Brovkin”, “Formula of Love”, which is why she received the unofficial status of the main grandmother of the Soviet screen. At the same time, the artist began her career much earlier.
Thus, Peltzer first appeared on screens in 1944 in the film “The Wedding.” In the black and white film, she got the minor role of the doctor’s wife, following which her career began. Afterwards she took part in “Precious Grains”, “Dowry Wedding” and other films.
But on the theater stage the artist began to shine even earlier. At the age of 19, she appeared in a production of the Mossovet Theater, where she captivated the audience.
In those years, the future grandmother of the Soviet screen had a very impressive appearance. Peltzer wore her long hair in a neat updo, revealing her face, and wore dresses that flattered her figure. After each appearance, her army of fans only grew, and modern viewers also do not skimp on compliments addressed to her.
