Young family farmers and entrepreneurs are financed

Asuncion, IP Agency.- The National Secretariat for Youth and the Agricultural Credit Facility signed a cooperation agreement to promote the development of programs and projects to support young producers and entrepreneurs throughout the country. During the same event, loans were also given to young beneficiaries of the Agricultural Credit Facility.

The document was signed on Tuesday by the heads of both State institutions, Salma Aguero and Amanda León, during an event held at the headquarters of the National Youth Secretariat.

The purpose of the Agreement is to establish inter-institutional links for coordination and operation between both institutions, in order to enable cooperation aimed at developing programs and projects to support young producers and entrepreneurs throughout the country.

The CAH and the SNJ highlight the commitment made to family farming and the empowerment of young producers and entrepreneurs. Likewise, the provision of credits aims to strengthen access to financial resources, to promote productivity and the economic empowerment of young people in the agricultural sector, nationwide.
