Volodymyr Zelensky announced that his war council had met in the city of Kharkiv, the capital of the region once morest which a large-scale Russian offensive is focused.

“So far, the situation in the Kharkiv region is completely under control,” Volodymyr Zelensky said on Telegram, clarifying that he is in the city with military commanders.
“But the zone remains in an extremely difficult situation, which is why we are reinforcing our units,” he said.
According to iefimerida, Kiev announced earlier that the Russian military advance has been halted in some zones of the region where Moscow with a surprise attack managed to secure in a few days the biggest territorial gains in a year and a half.
