Asuncion, IP Agency.- This Tuesday, August 13, the third edition of the Business Roundtable for MSMEs and family agriculture producers will be held in Caazapá, with a view to becoming suppliers of the companies awarded for the Zero Hunger Program in schools.
The initiative is promoted by the Ministry of Social Development (MDS), the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG).
The event will be held at the Jasmine Hall of the Municipality of Gral. Morínigo – Caazapá (Route Py 18 Street Rca. Of Colombia), from 08:00 to 11:3
The objective of this business meeting is to facilitate interaction between micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as family agriculture producers, with the supplier companies awarded the contract to provide school snacks and lunches to promote medium and long-term business relationships, strengthening the local value chain.
Tomorrow Wednesday will be in Guairá
This Wednesday, August 14, the fourth edition of the Business Roundtable will arrive in the department of Guairá, for SMEs and producers in the area.
The event will take place in the Guairá Governor’s Hall, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
It seeks to bring supply and demand closer together, to strengthen these sectors and to include them within the Zero Hunger Program, promoted by the Government of Paraguay, thus promoting compliance with the 5% purchase from micro, small and medium-sized enterprises; and 10% from family agriculture of the awarded contracts.
During the Business Roundtables, SMEs and producers will have the opportunity not only to present their products with the possibility of becoming suppliers of the companies awarded the Zero Hunger Program, but they will also be able to receive training from officials of the Vice Ministry of SMEs of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC), and from other State institutions, on formalization and financing, in order to strengthen the management of their businesses.
