ACCORDING TO INFORMATION FROM EL PERUANO
The Ministry of Health (Minsa) expects that, in the event of a fifth wave of covid-19 in the country, a first scenario would be mild and would occur in the fortnight of December; Meanwhile, a second scenario would already be at a moderate to severe level for March and April of next year, the head of the sector, Kelly Portalatino, announced this Monday.
In this regard, he said that the Minsa Advisory Council evaluates all the measures that can be adopted for the three possible scenarios, and on Wednesday a final report will be presented to the Council of Ministers for approval, including the proposal to restore the use of the mask for Christmas and New Year, in closed premises with crowds.
