▷ Venezuelan Medical Federation celebrates 77 years of its foundation #22Ago

The 77th anniversary of the founding of the Venezuelan Medical Federation (FMV) will be held this Wednesday and on this occasion, the medical union appointed the new president of the National Academy of Medicine (ANM), Isis Nezer.

Nezer chairs the new board of directors of the National Academy of Medicine for the period 2022-2024, and it is his first public appearance since he took office on July 28.

The anniversary events will be held at the institution’s headquarters, and will be attended by the Vice President of the Ibero-American and Caribbean Medical Confederation, for the Andean region (Confemel), Luis Larrea, also president of the Bolivian Medical College.

The programming will begin at 9:30 am with a floral offering in honor of the bust of Dr. José Rojas Contreras, the first president of the FMV, with words by Aixa Müller, an individual of the Academy of Medicine.

At 10:00 am a press conference has been scheduled, whose spokesman will be the president of the Venezuelan medical union, Douglas León Natera.

Then at 10:45 am a thanksgiving mass will be celebrated, officiated by Monsignor Carlos Márquez Delima, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Caracas.

The anniversary program will then continue at 11:30 am with the words of the order speaker, by Isis Nezer de Landaeta, president of the National Academy of Medicine.
