Girl group BLACKPINK’s 2nd regular album pre-release song ‘Pink Venom’ topped the iTunes Top Song Charts in 69 countries around the world on the day of its release.
According to the agency YG Entertainment, the song, released yesterday, enjoyed even popularity around the world, including North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania, and topped the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart.
‘Pink Venom’ topped major music charts in Korea, including Melon, Bugs, Vibe, and Genie.
The 2nd album ‘Born Pink’, which is about to be released next month, is expected to break the record sales of K-pop girl groups by exceeding 1.5 million pre-orders within a week of pre-orders.
