There is a young writer in his 30s who has been nominated for the British Booker Prize, one of the world’s three major literary awards, and has achieved the title of the youngest nominated writer in Korea.
Park Sang-young is a writer who writes sexual minority and queer literature.
Reporter Cha Jeong-yoon met author Park Sang-young, who became a best-selling author with stories of minorities.

A novelist who became a star writer at once by being nominated for the Booker Prize International within six years of his debut.
I am Park Sang-young, a 34-year-old writer who writes queer literature.
Like the handwriting of an honest and pleasant novel without pretense, the secret to box office success was fun.

From ‘Love in the Big City’ to ‘About Faith’, the so-called ‘Love Trilogy’ contains stories of same-sex couples that are no different from meeting and breaking up with any other couple.
Although it deals with the story of sexual minorities, it is because of the three-dimensional characters and the power of the story that the book is read as if sucked in.
