Two off-road vehicles from China’s Changcheng Motor Company (GWM) were launched in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
The models that Changchung Motors released this time are the Tank-300 and Tank-500, respectively, and both belong to the ‘Tank’ brand, which aims to target overseas markets.
An official from Changchung Motors recently revealed that the Middle East is a key market for off-road vehicles with great potential in the world and is an essential market for the globalization of the ‘Tank’ brand.
Changchung Motors said that the Tank-300 provides a new off-road experience tailored to the user’s personality and breaks down the barrier between off-road SUVs and urban SUVs.
According to Changchung Motors, the compound growth rate in the Saudi market from 2018 to last year reached 204%, and its sales volume was among the top Chinese brands that entered the local market.
An official from Changchung Motors Saudi Arabia’s dealership said that Chinese cars, especially luxury vehicles, boast high popularity among Saudi customers due to their excellent quality and service.
