On September 6, an unfamiliar game appeared at the top of the Steam World’s Best Selling Chart. Gloomwood, a stealth horror FPS set in a Victorian era, rose to the top spot with the start of Early Access.

Gloomwood is a new stealth horror FPS where the main character is trapped in a Victorian city and the goal is to escape the city using various tools such as swords, revolvers, shotguns, and traps. In addition to the weapons you have here, you can lead the situation to your advantage by throwing a bottle to draw attention, or by breaking the lights to limit the enemy’s view. From the 90’s to the 2000’s, the classic graphics have a rough feel, but the parts necessary for infiltration, such as wiretapping or peeping through the cracks in the door, are described in detail.

The fact that the game rose to the top of the sales chart has a good classic sensibility, but it is also assumed that there is trust in the publisher and the producer. Distributor New Blood Interactive’s previous work, Ultra Kill, received an ‘overwhelmingly positive (31,421 participants, 98% positive)’ rating on Steam, thanks to its speed and sense of impact. It is rated as ‘overwhelmingly positive (14,417 participants, 97% positive)’ along with a favorable reception.

Gloomwood is offering a release commemorative discount until the 13th, so gamers who want a classic-style stealth action game within 20,000 won should consider it. However, only English is supported, and Korean is not officially supported.

Except for Gloomwood, who took first place, Destiny 2 DLC can be seen taking the 6th, 7th, and 8th places side by side. Plate Up! moved up to 4th place.

While maintaining the top ranking in the TOP 20 of the highest concurrent users in the day, it is noteworthy that Dead by Daylight, which rose to the top with Wesker’s appearance, fell to 19th.
