Q. You won Miccon 2021. Are there any episodes you remember from that time?
A. I still vividly remember the final round ‘Bubble Suit’ performance. When I first prepared it, it didn’t look pretty, so I told the producer next to me that I had to do it again, and I washed the foam off with water, and in the process, the producer saw my naked body. I was quite surprised because there were cameras there, but I quickly pulled myself together and regrouped and won. Q. Why did you become involved with Spooning?
A. Originally, I was a ‘subscriber’ who liked the Spooning YouTube channel. When she was taking a break from her activities for about a year, a contest to recruit Spooning members came up and she applied, and was accepted as a member after overcoming a competition rate of 300:1. It’s really amazing that I became connected to her favorite channel.
Q. What do you keep in mind when creating spinning content? And what was the most impressive moment during filming?
A. I try to match what the editor intended. So, even though it was a comedy character, I was prepared to give it up, and I was very grateful that the CEO created content with the concept of bringing out this person’s talent as much as possible.
Q. How would you describe your greatest charm?
A. Many people seem to like and like the part where they lead the mood with funny remarks and performances. However, in this person’s opinion, the biggest charm is ‘aegyo’. A. We prepared for two months for the one-day event, and it was a great help to us that so many people came to the booth. It was very meaningful as it was the first time I met my fans offline. It wasn’t physically easy at the end of the event, but considering the fans who came from far away, we didn’t show any hardship and encouraged the members to finish it successfully. My feet hurt so much for three days after the event, but I couldn’t help but smile because I thought it was a sign of working hard with my fans.
Q. What are your future activity plans?
A. I will focus on what I am doing now. Through this process, I want to gain a lot of experience, and in 5 to 10 years, I want to become a person who trains people like this person and helps them to function smoothly.
