In addition to special activity expenses after President Yoon’s inauguration, they also demanded disclosure of whether the President and his wife paid 4.5 million won for dinner at a Korean restaurant in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul on May 13.
Even during the Moon Jae-in administration, it is an organization that requested the disclosure of information related to special activity expenses and first lady Kim Jeong-sook’s clothing price, and I heard the reason that information on tax execution should be disclosed transparently.
However, the Administrative Appeals Committee of the Office of the President, which was held for the first time in the new government, dismissed the group’s claim.
It was concerned that if receipts related to the president’s movement were disclosed, the size of the entourage or the route of movement could be exposed, which could cause problems with national security and security.
In addition, as the appeal trial of the former president’s special activity expense information disclosure lawsuit is in progress, it is explained that there is a need to decide on a unified standard according to the ruling of the upper court.
Previously, the Taxpayers Federation filed a lawsuit at the Blue House of the Moon Jae-in government for not disclosing information related to special activity expenses and clothing prices, and was partially ruled in favor in the first trial in February.
Due to the government’s appeal at the time, the second trial is currently underway.
The Taxpayers Federation plans to file an administrative lawsuit again this time.
