Health authorities announced this Friday, March 31 2023, the latest figures on the coronavirus pandemic.

For the Allier department, Public Health France has announced that no patient hospitalized for Covid-19 has died from this virus since Tuesday March 14. Since March 1, 2020, the number of victims of this virus has remained at 939 in Bourbonnais hospitals. At the health level, slight drop in the number of people in hospital because of this virus with 1 patient less between Thursday and Friday afternoon. This Friday, at the end of the day, there were 22 people hospitalized in the Allier. Of these 22 patients, none was admitted to an intensive care unit, in a condition deemed serious. It is 50.04 over the period from March 22 to 28, 2023. The incidence rate remains below the national average. Regarding vaccination, 273,975 Bourbonnais obtained at least one dose of the vaccine against Covid-19 (271,406 received 2 doses and 222,236 the booster dose).

In the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, 1 additional death in hospitals between Thursday and Friday afternoon. Since March 1, 2020, the number of victims linked to Covid-19 remains at 17,579 in hospitals in the region. At the health level, stable situation between Thursday and Friday concerning the number of people hospitalized for this virus. This Friday, at the end of the day, there were 907 people in hospital for Covid-19. Of these 907 patients, 42 are admitted to an intensive care unit, in a condition considered worrying. These are 5 fewer patients in sheaves between Thursday and Friday afternoon. And 40 patients returned home thux, cured of Covid-19, between Thursday and Friday afternoon. Since the start of the crisis, there have been 108,926 returns home.

The figures concerning nursing homes in Allier and in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region were updated by the regional health agency on Tuesday February 1, 2022.

In Allier, 197 residents of nursing homes died in their establishment.
