10 people are trapped vertically in an amusement park roller coaster

Ten people were trapped for regarding an hour vertically on the roller coaster ‘Abyss’ of the Madrid Amusement Park due to a technical failure.

A dozen people were riding the attraction this Wednesday around 9:00 p.m. when one of the cars was paralyzed in one of the vertical lanes.

None of those affected has suffered damage or required medical assistance.

The trapped people were able to get down by their own means and it was not necessary to activate the emergency services.

Apparently, it was due to a punctual mechanical failure due to the high temperatures, as indicated by the Amusement Park.

Workers have restarted the attraction and the park has reopened this Thursday at the scheduled time.

Known as ‘Abyss’, this roller coaster, described as “intense level”, is one of the best known on the Peninsula for its uniqueness: at a speed of 105 kilometers per hour“you will be able to both generate and release a large amount of adrenaline”, as announced by the Amusement Park, when descending at that great speed on your back.

From the Madrid Amusement Park they have recalled that all the attractions are checked daily and have a strict security protocol and have attributed the incident to a specific technical failure.
