A flight attendant revealed the ten most important things that he is keen to put in the carry-on bag on the plane during travel, which he advises every traveler to be careful to put.
Ben Watman, Air New Zealand’s director of in-flight services, has been in the air for nearly a decade, and always makes sure to pack his 10 essentials when he travels:
- Lip balm due to the extreme dryness of the air.
- Eye spray, because the dry conditions inside the plane can cause itching and discomfort in the eyes.
- Lens cleaner, to keep glasses and electronic device screens perfectly clean.
- A mist spray for the face, to keep the skin hydrated during long flights especially.
- Soundproof headphones, such as Apple AirPods Pro.
- Phone charger and other electrical device charger.
- Twelve South AirFly device that plugs into a chair’s monitor jack, allowing the passenger to use headphones to display, via Bluetooth technology.
- Notepad and pens, to jot down ideas and write upcoming plans, as flight time represents a quiet and privileged time for planning.
