11 more patients in 24 hours but none for Covid-19 in Allier hospitals – March 21, 2023

The health authorities announced this Tuesday, March 21 2023, the latest figures on the coronavirus pandemic.

For the Allier department, Public Health France has announced that no patient hospitalized for Covid-19 has died from this virus since Tuesday March 14. Since March 1, 2020, the number of victims of this virus has remained at 940 in Bourbonnais hospitals. At the health level, a sharp increase in the number of people in hospital because of this virus with 11 more patients between Monday and Tuesday afternoon. In the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, 3 additional deaths in hospitals between Monday and Tuesday afternoon. Since March 1, 2020, the number of victims linked to Covid-19 remains at 17,557 in hospitals in the region. At the health level, resumption of the increase in the number of people hospitalized with 22 more patients between Monday and Tuesday afternoon. This Tuesday, at the end of the day, there were 845 people in hospital for Covid-19. Of these 845 patients, 33 are admitted to an intensive care unit, in a condition considered worrying. The figures concerning nursing homes in Allier and in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region were updated by the regional health agency on Tuesday February 1, 2022.

In Allier, 197 residents of nursing homes died in their establishment.
