11 players outside Kohler’s accounts against the Monastir Union

A number of Al-Ahly first-team players left the accounts of Marcel Koller, the coach, in the Tunisian Union Monastir match, which is scheduled to be held in the African Champions League.

Al-Ahly will face the Tunisian Al-Ittihad team of Monastir at 6:00 pm tomorrow, Saturday, at Al-Ahly Wei Salam Stadium, for the second leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.

The Swiss Kohler announced Al-Ahly’s list that will compete in tomorrow’s match against Al-Ittihad of Monastir, and witnessed Midfielder Ahmed Nabil Kouka, in addition to the Brazilian Bruno Savio, was behind the attacking trio of Hossam Hassan, Shadi Hussein and Mohamed Sherif.

Marcel Kohler decided to exclude 11 players from the final list for the match, including Hamza Alaa, Rami, Rabia, Yasser Ibrahim, Mohamed Maghribi, Mohamed Ashraf, Mohamed Mahmoud, Ziad Tariq, Mohamed Fakhry, Mido Nabil, Percy Tau and Mustafa Saad.

The exclusion of South African Percy Tau and midfielder Mohamed Fakhry, due to lack of physical preparation, while the rest of the players were excluded due to the technical point of view of coach Marcel Koehler.

Al-Ahly defeated Al-Ittihad of Monastir with a goal without a response, scored by the team’s defender, Mohamed Abdel-Moneim, in the first-leg match that was held at Mustafa Ben Jannat Stadium in Monastir, Tunisia.
