Vienna (OTS) – To increase traffic safety, a roadway elevation and a cycle path crossing using a traffic island will be built on Simmerringer Hauptstrasse in the area of Franz-Perska-Gasse in the 11th district. On Monday, October 9, 2023, the City of Vienna – Road Administration and Road Construction will begin work. The existing cycle path in the construction site area will be closed for the duration of construction. Bicycle traffic will be redirected over the 3.5 meter wide remaining lane.
- Construction starts: October 9, 2023
- Planned end of construction: November 15, 2023
