12% growth in Gulftainer’s business in Saudi Arabia

Sharjah (Union) Gulftainer, a port management and logistics company, recorded a 12% growth in its commercial and container operations in Saudi Arabia, with Jubail Commercial Port registering 347,000 TEUs since 2021. The Gulf Stevedoring Contracting Company (GSCCO), part of the The Gulftainer Group of Companies, an additional 21% year-over-year increase in general cargo tonnage at the terminal, reached 2.7 million metric tons in the first half of 2022.

On the commercial side, we have noticed an outstanding total productivity and profitability, which has seen an increase in EBITDA by 53% since 2021.”
