12-year-old boy was shot in a New York building

A 12-year-old boy was shot last night in the entrance of a residential building in Brooklyn (NYC).

According to the NYPD, the boy was in the lobby of an apartment building on Bristol St. near Dumont Ave., in the Brownsville neighborhoodwhen shots were heard around 9:20 p.m.

The boy was shot in the left shoulder. Paramedics took the young victim to Maimonides Medical Center, in stable condition, reported Daily News.
