A court in western Russia’s Tula region has banned a father from discrediting the military after being questioned by police for his daughter’s paintings in class protesting the military operation in Ukraine. He was sentenced to two years in prison for the offense. The man fled before sentencing and did not appear in court. Archyde.com reported.
The man is Alexei Moskaryov. In April last year, her then 12-year-old daughter Masha drew a picture of missiles flying at women and children, accompanied by the flags of both countries and words such as “No war” and “Glory to Ukraine”. Reported.
According to independent Russian media, Moskaryov himself expressed his opposition to the military operation on social media.
