A 12-year-old boy riding a scooter was seriously injured following colliding with a car on Sunday evening in Contrecoeur, Montérégie.
The accident occurred a little following 7 p.m. on Marie-Victorin road, opposite the town hall located between Ducharme and Saint-Antoine streets.

As a result of the impact, the 12-year-old would have suffered serious injuries, but his life is not in danger.
