Timing perfect for musical director Rémi Durupt invited to work, on their dedicated games, the 28 artists of the Angers Nantes Opera choir who will share the scene with several amateur choirs entities.
From April 22 to 30, then on May 14, he therefore seized these professionals in the musical material thought by Guillaume Hazebrouck for all voice tessitures. The opportunity also to bring up this “adult” choir, two college choirs* and The Nantes little choir, made up of young people aged 8 to 14 who have been formed since last September.
In May, Rémi Durupt also slipped to a rehearsal of the Bottière women’s choir, also part of the project and which has appropriated several sung parts of the poem since March 5. This under the leadership of the lyric artist of Angers Nantes Opera, Antonine Bon.
In terms of instruments, he was able to engage in orchestra readings on May 2 and 3 in the company of the 7 musicians who will invest the pit during the three performances (June 24, 25 and 26, 2025 at the Graslin Theater).
