A previously unknown perpetrator stole a censer from a church in Tennengau on the night of Whit Monday. The brass incense burner dates from 1900, is silver-plated and around 30 centimeters high. According to the police, the value was not known at the time. The investigation is ongoing.
It was not until mid-May that a thief stole three candles from the parish church in the Elisabeth suburb in Salzburg – including the Easter candle, which was almost a meter high and nine centimeters thick.
