As everywhere in France, the flu epidemic continue son explosion in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, where the number of emergency visits jumped by +122% between weeks 50 and 51, according to the epidemiological bulletin of the regional unit of Public Health France of December 29.
Between December 19 and 25, 1,794 visits to the emergency room for influenza/influenza-like illness were recorded in the region, representing 3.9% of visits of all ages (+2.2% compared to week 50).
