New cross-district one-way cycle path
Vienna (OTS) – The City of Vienna – Road Administration and Road Construction will begin on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, with the construction of a one-way cycle path in Wundtgasse between Emil-Behring-Weg and Rosenhügelstraße in the 12th and 23rd districts.
Details
In Wundtgasse between Emil-Behring-Weg and Rosenhügelstrasse, a two-meter-wide, structurally separated one-way cycle path will be built in the direction of Am Rosenhügel, on the side of the even house numbers, over a length of around 250 meters. In addition, the existing green space in the Wundtgasse/Rosenhügelstrasse junction area will be enlarged. The roadway will definitely be repaired as part of the construction work.
Traffic measures
During construction, Wundtgasse between Emil-Behring-Weg and Rosenhügelstrasse will be closed to traffic. The bus route 63A is shortened via Emil-Behring-Weg to Wundtgasse in the direction of Hervicusgasse. The “Am Rosenhügel” stop will be closed during construction. Foot traffic will be maintained.
