13 new deaths in the city of Casablanca

The national coronavirus contamination report shows this Thursday, January 14 at 6 p.m., 1,927 new healings, for a total of 431,167 and 44 new deaths, for a total of 7.854.

Regarding deaths, the Kingdom has a significant increase from 17 Wednesday to 44 this Thursday, January 14. As for the case fatality rate, it stands at 1.72%.

The Casablanca-Settat region has recorded a further rise in new deaths and has 13, all concentrated in the city of Casablanca.

The Casablanca-Settat region is followed by that of Marrakech-Safi which takes stock of 5 new cases including 3 in Marrakech and 2 in Chichaoua.

The region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra has 3 new deaths in Salé (1) and Sidi Kacem (2) as well as Fès Meknes (1 in Meknes, 2 in Sefrou), while that of Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima has 4 including 1 in Tangier, 1 in Tetouan and 2 in Al Hoceima as well as Souss-Massa (3 in Agadir and 1 in Taroudant). The same figure was observed in the Oriental (2 in Nador, 1 in Berkane and 1 in Taourirt).

2 new deaths were observed in Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, all concentrated in Oued Ed-Dahab, as well as in the region of Daraâ-Tafilalet in Ouarzazate (1) and Tinghir (1). Same story on the side of Guelmim-Oued Noun (1 in Sidi Ifni and 1 in Guelmim) and Beni Mellal-Khénifra in Beni Mellal.
