TRIBUNJATIM.COM – Ahmad Dhani now strictly prohibited Once Mekel sing a song Dewa 19 even though they have paid royalties.
This was stated by Ahmad Dhani in a broadcast on the Celebrity OnCam News YouTube channel on Friday (7/4/2023).
Now Ahmad Dhani is reluctant to receive any royalties from Once Mekel.
“No, no, I don’t want it anymore,” said Ahmad Dhani firmly.

Ahmad Dhani also mentioned the brand he has created so far.
Husband Mulan Jameela this doesn’t want the brand he created to be sung by Once Mekel.
“This is a matter of brand, not a matter of principle,” said Ahmad Dhani.
Ahmad Dhani said that the group he formed called Dewa 19 is still actively working.
So he doesn’t want another concert featuring the song Dewa 19.
“Because Dewa 19 still exists, I and Andra still exist,” said Ahmad Dhani.
“So I don’t want another concert related to Dewa 19,” he added.
With this, Ahmad Dhani said, that his debate with Once concerned the business he was running.
“My dispute with Once is not in the realm of copyright, but in the realm of business competition,” explained Ahmad Dhani.
