134 dead after climate-related violence in Nigeria – World Chronicle

LAGOS – At least 134 people have been killed by armed groups in the West African country of Nigeria in the past week. The governor of the affected state of Benue, Samuel Ortom, said on Saturday that pastoralists of the Fulani ethnic group were responsible for the attacks. Similar attacks have taken place in the region in the past.
