The number of new infections with the Corona virus that causes the disease (Covid-19) in Lebanon rose to 780,833 today, Monday, following 6,653 new infections were recorded during the past 24 hours, while the number of deaths rose to 9,298 following 15 new deaths were recorded.
And the Ministry of Public Health announced in its daily report on the developments of the Corona virus, that 6,653 new cases of Corona virus were recorded during the past 24 hours, including 6,457 among the residents and 196 among the expatriates, which raises the cumulative number of confirmed cases to 780,833 since February 21. February last year.
The ministry added that 15 new deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours, which brings the number of deaths to 9,298 since February 21 last year.
On March 15, 2020, the Lebanese Council of Ministers announced general mobilization to confront the spread of the Corona virus, and extended the general mobilization until March 31, 2022.
