Fifteen researchers working in Austria receive funding from European Research Council (ERC) a “Consolidator Grant”. The award, which is endowed with around two million euros (in certain cases up to three million euros), supports scientists with seven to twelve years of experience following their doctorate or PhD who want to build or strengthen their own group in order to “explore their most promising scientific research The ERC said on Thursday that “Ideas” should be pursued.
