Vienna/Graz/Innsbruck – Scientists from all three Austrian MedUnis have now presented a sad balance sheet for the first two years of the Covid-19 pandemic. In a study published in “Scientific Reports”, they report that 17.3 percent of Covid-19 patients died in Austria’s hospitals between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2021. Men and the elderly were at extreme risk.
