A 24-year-old man was also injured in the incident.

A 17-year-old girl died following falling from a moving vehicle during a student caravan in Camaguán, Guárico state.

The students celebrated for having completed their high school studies, Notipascua published.

According to various sources, the minor was apparently celebrating with a group of friends aboard a truck when they suffered a traffic accident on the Juan Vicente Torrealba national highway, leaving her seriously injured along with another person.

She was transferred to the “Antonio José de Sucre” Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI) in the area, but despite the efforts of the doctors on duty, the girl died.

The young woman was identified as Dulce María Fortaines.

The other injured, named Jhonathan Daniel Torrealba Meléndez, 24, suffered generalized polytrauma and is recovering.
