188,000 dead Russians since the invasion began

Many soldiers die in the Ukraine war.

On the Russian side alone, there are said to be around 188,000 fallen soldiers.

To cover up this high figure, President Vladimir Putin ordered mobile crematoria.

The Kremlin is keeping a low profile. Official figures on fallen soldiers are rarely communicated. According to rumours, up to 220,000 soldiers are expected to die in Russia alone by May.

An end to the war does not yet appear in sight.
