This competition will be held from February 7-13 at Island Hall, 3rd floor, Fashion Island Shopping Center, Ramintra to search for new young athletes to add to the Thai national team in the future, divided into 7 categories. as follows: general men’s sepak takraw, men’s singles team, 46 teams of royal trophy, general Thai men’s general rules sepak takraw unlimited skill 7 teams of royal trophies, general women’s sepak takraw 60 women’s singles teams, 40 men’s double sepaktakraw teams, 20 women’s double sepak takraw teams, 8 general men’s universal sepak takraw teams, and 8 female general sepak takraw teams, a total of 189 teams.
The competition will start from 10.00 am. On the opening ceremony of the competition on February 7 at 15.00 there will be Mr. Sompong Chatuwithi, Vice President of the Takraw Association. Presided over the opening ceremony and on February 13 at 3 p.m. Dr. Pariwat Wannaklang, President of the National Sports University will preside over the closing ceremony. along with giving the royal trophy to the winning team
Mr. Thanawat Prasongcharoen, secretary-general of the Takraw Association, revealed that for the 31st SEA Games takraw competition in Vietnam on May 12-23, Vietnam confirmed that it will hold 8 gold medals, consisting of men’s and women’s uniforms, 3 singles teams. Men – women, single teams 2 people, men – women and single teams 4 people, men – women. The host can send athletes up to 8 items, while other nations can choose to send 2 men’s teams and women’s teams, while the Thai team will send 4 events, the goal is impossible, only need to win all 4 gold medals.
As for the 19th Asian Games in China, on September 10-25, all 6 gold medals will compete, consisting of men’s and women’s teams, 3 singles teams, men and women and 4 singles teams, males and females, which the host can send in every program as usual. other nations Can choose to send male and female athletes 2 items each, totaling 4 items
The Asian Takraw Federation New rules stating that the team type, as before, will have 3 real athletes, 3 substitutes, a total of 12 people, but this time the Asian Games has changed the competition system. Team types must consist of 3 singles teams, 2 singles teams and Single team of 4, however, even if the rules were changed We are looking to win all 4 gold medals that compete only.
