2 more patients in 24 hours for Covid-19 in Allier hospitals – April 14, 2023

The health authorities announced this Friday, April 14 2023, the latest figures on the coronavirus pandemic.

For the Allier department, Public Health France has announced that no patient hospitalized for Covid-19 has died from this virus since Tuesday March 14. Since March 1, 2020, the number of victims of this virus has remained at 939 in Bourbonnais hospitals. At the health level, very slight increase in the number of people in hospital because of this virus with 2 more patients between Thursday and Friday afternoon. This Friday, at the end of the day, there were 31 people hospitalized in the Allier. Of these 31 patients, none was admitted to an intensive care unit, in a condition deemed serious. Regarding vaccination, 273,975 Bourbonnais obtained at least one dose of the vaccine against Covid-19 (271,406 received 2 doses and 222,236 the booster dose).

In the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, 4 additional deaths in hospitals between Thursday and Friday afternoon. Since March 1, 2020, the number of victims linked to Covid-19 has risen to 17,619 in hospitals in the region. At the health level, slight increase in the number of people hospitalized for this virus with 2 more patients between Thursday and Friday afternoon. This Friday, at the end of the day, there were 954 people in hospital for Covid-19. Of these 954 patients, 52 are admitted to an intensive care unit, in a condition considered worrying. There are 5 additional patients between Thursday and Friday afternoon. And 92 patients returned home thux, cured of Covid-19, between Thursday and Friday afternoon. Since the start of the crisis, there have been 109,384 returns home.

At the national level, 25 additional deaths from Covid-19 between Thursday and Friday afternoon. Since March 1, there have been 166,024 deaths from Covid-19, 136,410 in the hospital and 29,614 in nursing homes. At the health level, resumption of the increase in the number of people hospitalized because of Covid-19. This Friday, at the end of the day, 12,691 people were hospitalized for Covid-19 (+53 in 24 hours). Of these 12,691 patients, 723 are admitted to an intensive care unit, in a condition deemed serious (+12 in 24 hours). The figures concerning nursing homes in Allier and in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region were updated by the regional health agency on Tuesday February 1, 2022.

In Allier, 197 residents of nursing homes died in their establishment.

In the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, there are 5,526 deaths (+9 between June 7 and 27, 2021). 4,360 reports were made (25 more reports between June 7 and 27, 2021). 37,988 EHPAD residents tested positive for Covid-19 (+114 between June 7 and June 27, 2021).
