As reported by the CAND Newspaper, on the morning of January 28, a passenger car carrying people to a wedding in Son La lost control and plunged into a 30-meter-deep valley, causing 7 casualties.
The contract bus driver BKS 29B-510.70 carried 17 people from Thuan Chau district to the wedding in Chieng So commune, Song Ma district. When coming to the road in Nong Vai village (Co Ma commune, Thuan Chau district), an accident occurred.
The site of the accident had a sharp curve. The car lost control, plunged into the negative ravine regarding 30m, killing 2 people on the spot, injuring 5 people and being taken to Thuan Chau District General Hospital for emergency treatment. The remaining 11 were bruised.
According to the reporter’s updated information, out of the 5 injured people, 2 died on the way to the hospital and 1 person was transferred to the Son La General Hospital. Thus, in the above traffic accident, 4 people died.
