[European/overseas football news]The pairings for the Asian Champions League have been decided.
The AFC Champions League group stage group draw was held on the 24th.
Yokohama F. Marinos[2022 Meiji Yasuda Mutual Life Insurance J1 League Champion]Ventforet Kofu[Emperor’s Cup Winner]Kawasaki Frontale[2022 Meiji Yasuda Mutual Life Insurance J1 League 2nd place]Urawa Red Diamonds[2022 ACL Champion]from J League forces participates. The combination lottery will be held according to the pot division decided in advance. One team is assigned to each group from each pot, and it is a regulation that teams from the same country do not play against each other.
In the East Division, J-League champions Yokohama FM are in Group G and live with Shandong Taishan (China) and Kaya Iloilo (Philippines). Last season’s Asian champions Urawa Red Diamonds, who will be participating in Pot 4, will be in Group J, alongside Wuhan Sanzhen (China), Pohang Steelers (Korea) and Hanoi (Vietnam).
