F1 has announced the starting grid for the 2022 F1 Round 3 Australian Grand Prix Final.
Alex Albon (Williams), who was unable to submit a 1-liter fuel sample in qualifying, was excluded from the qualifying results. Albon, who was allowed to participate in the final and was penalized for 3 grid demotion in the previous race, will start from the end.
In addition, Lance Stroll (Aston Martin), who had a contact accident with Nicholas Latifi (Williams) in qualifying Q1, was penalized with a 3-grid demotion, and Stroll will start from the 19th grid.
Charles Leclerc (Scuderia Ferrari) is in pole position, and Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing) is in front row.
Sergio Perez (Red Bull Racing) is on the 3rd grid and Lando Norris (McLaren) is on the 4th grid in the second row.
The 2022 F1 Round 3 Australian Grand Prix final will have a formation lap from 14:00 (15:00 local time) on Sunday, April 10.
