Abd Almejeed Abdallah
Renowned Saudi vocalist, Abdul Majeed Abdullah, declared his Meniere’s disease diagnosis to his audience during a recent performance in Riyadh.
Social media platforms quickly shared footage of Abdullah onstage with fellow artist Mohammed Abdo, where the announcement was made. Meniere’s disease, the artist explained, affects the inner ear, causing vertigo and balance difficulties.
Addressing the Riyadh crowd, Abdullah humbly requested prayers for his recuperation, stating, “Please pray that God grants me relief from this inner ear inflammation, this Meniere’s disease which disrupts my balance, hindering my ability to stand before you. I need to be completely well to fully enjoy performing with you all.”
To lighten the mood, Muhammad Abdo quipped, jokingly inquiring, “I mean, how do you even get that dizzy? What if I just slapped your ears?”
This Riyadh concert featured an innovative format, showcasing simultaneous performances by trios of acclaimed musicians. The show commenced with Asma Lamnawar, Nabil Shuail, and Ali bin Muhammad, followed by Abdullah Al-Ruwaished, Nawal Al-Kuwaiti, and Angham. This was succeeded by Walid Al-Shami, Aseel Abu Bakr, and Ali bin Muhammad, culminating in a performance by Ahlam, Asma Lamnawar, and Angham.

Lille fans are barred from attending their team’s Coupe de France round of 16 match against Lens on Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. This prohibition, stemming from a Ministry of the Interior order published Friday in the Official Journal, cites a “substantial and genuine risk of clashes.”
The ministry declared that “antagonism has characterized the relationship between RC Lens and LOSC supporters for many years.” Consequently, the order forbids “any individual or group movement, by any means, of anyone identifying as a Lille Olympique Sporting Club supporter or acting as such” between municipalities in the Nord department and the municipality of Lens (Pas-de-Calais).
A Pas-de-Calais prefect’s decree, issued December 23, had already banned Losc fans from entering the Bollaert-Delelis stadium in Lens and its vicinity, along with several city center streets in Lens and the nearby town of Liévin, from Tuesday at 6:00 a.m. to Wednesday at 6:00 a.m.
September’s Injuries: A Count of Seven
Following disturbances in the stands during the Ligue 1 Lens-Lille derby on September 18, both clubs faced penalties from the League (LFP), including a ban on Lille’s use of the away team’s parking lot until December 31.
During that game, numerous Lens supporters stormed the pitch, engaging in conflict with Lille supporters; projectiles were launched from the stands. The skirmishes, contained by riot police intervention, resulted in seven injuries, according to the Interior Ministry.
The ministry emphasized that security forces are actively addressing the terrorist threat and managing migration issues along the Calais and Hauts-de-France coasts. It stated that these critical missions prevent the diversion of resources to manage supporter-related violence during sporting events.

To delve into Theseus, his new life is to embark on a captivating journey through the intricate maze of ancestry and into the narrative’s very essence. This human narrative chronicles shocks, traumas, and familial secrets spanning four generations. Camille de Toledo, a distinctly European voice, reflects upon the multifaceted implications of this historical fall and the profound significance of the 20th century’s decline. Time marches on, yet the triumphs of Wout van Aert remain consistent. The Belgian cycling star secured victory in the GP Sven Nys on Saturday in Baal—the fourth of eight races in the X20 cyclocross Trophy. This marks his seventh consecutive win in as many cyclocross events since his return to competition on December 4th in Boom.
Van Aert, initially in third place after a mid-race shoe change, brilliantly overhauled Eli Iserbyt and Tom Pidcock to claim the top spot, finishing 10 seconds ahead of the Briton and 29 seconds in front of Iserbyt.
Toon Aerts, who placed fourth on Saturday, maintains his overall standings lead, holding a 1:15 advantage over Iserbyt.
Lucinda Brand emerged victorious in the women’s competition. The Dutch world champion edged out her compatriot Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado by a mere 6 seconds. Denise Betsema rounded out an all-Dutch podium in third, 37 seconds behind Brand. The leading Belgian competitor, True Cant, finished sixth.
