Vivo X90 Series Temps Advanced Chipsets and Cameras Are you interested?
At the same time, Vivo launched the first phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and the first phone with Dimensity 9200 SoC. We are talking regarding the vivo X90 series that will go on sale in China in the next few weeks.
As the new chipset is in the works, the main focus of the X90 series remains the best camera phones on the market. Both Pros are equipped with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor with a bright f/1.75 aperture and OIS, not to mention all the work that went into the Zeiss lenses.
Of course, there can only be one The Excellent and that honor goes to vivo X90 Pro +. It’s the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 we mentioned, but it also has dedicated periscope and ultrawide modules. The ultra-wide camera doesn’t have a wide FoV (114 degrees), but its lens is designed for low distortion, which means less digital vision correction is necessary.
As for the periscope lens, it has a focal length of 90mm which means 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. The 64MP high-resolution sensor helps bring out more details. There’s another telephoto lens on board, a 50MP selfie camera with a 50MP sensor and a bright f/1.6 aperture.
The Vivo X90 Pro has the same main and portrait cameras, but loses scope and the ultra-wide module is reduced to a 12MP sensor and 108-degree lens.

The vanilla vivo X90 takes it one step further – it loses the main IMX989 sensor and gets a 1/1.49″ 50MP sensor in its place. Also, the 50mm camera drops down to a 12MP sensor. However, it has a powerful chipset and like the other two, vivo V2 ISP helps in image processing. It contains

There are several other reasons to choose Pro+ over others. All three devices have 6.78-inch, 120Hz AMOLED displays, but only the Pro+ model has an LTPO4 panel with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. The other two go down to a resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 pixels, except for LTPO. And they use the Dimensity 9200 chipset, in case that wasn’t obvious, but we haven’t tested it once morest Snapdragon yet (we’ve only seen leaked benchmarks so far).
There are also differences in shipping. The battery capacity is almost identical, but the X90 Pro has faster charging support – 120W wired (0-50% in 8 minutes) and 50W wireless. Pro+ is slower with 80W wired charging (another 50W wireless). The vanilla model is original in the wired race with 120W support, but no wireless charging (the USB-C port is also down to v2.0, if video output is important to you).

The last thing – the price. vivo has announced plans to launch it in China only now, so these are the prices we’ll have to work out. Vivo X90 and X90 Pro are priced at CNY 3,700 ($515 / €500 / INR 42,000) and CNY 5,000 ($700 / €675 / INR 57,000) respectively. It will be available from December 6th.
Vivo X90 Pro+ will start at CNY 6,500 ($905 / €880 / INR 74,000) on pre-order on the 28th (it will also be released on December 26).
vivo X90 series prices for china
All three are without competition thanks to the honor of being the first with their segments. There are also upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9200 phones, which we may see before the end of the year. However, we can only speculate on its pricing and we only have rumors for the specs, so let’s save it for now.
We’ll just mention the Xiaomi 12S Ultra – it has the same 1-inch IMX989 sensor, a 48MP 120mm camera, and a 48MP 128-degree ultra-wide camera. It uses the older Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, and the 6.73-inch QHD+ display is “only” LTPO2 (still 120Hz). The 12/256GB version is CNY6,500, the same as the X90 Pro+ (there is a slightly cheaper 8/256GB model for CNY6,000).

Note: We know regarding the Sharp Aquos R7 and Leica Leitz Phone 2, but they are boutique devices and cannot be purchased outside of Japan.
Assuming it goes global, would you buy vivo X90 Pro+? Leaks indicate that the 1-inch IMX989 will be used in more phones. Do you want to wait for them? Or is the camera just not a factor for you? Vote below or by using This page. All of this assumes that Pro+ is definitely available near you.

“It is those who pay the taxes who will reimburse”: has Belgium been too generous for energy aid?
After an initial heating bonus of 100 euros, a basic package for the months of November and December 2022 for gas (135 euros/month) and electricity (61 euros/month) has been decided by the federal government, i.e. 196 euros per month to help Belgian households get through this crisis. According to Europe, Belgium would have distributed far too generous “energy” aid to its inhabitants. This, while the budget deficit of our country is one of the worst in Europe, or 5.8% deficit.
On the set of It’s Not Everyday Sunday, N-VA Assemblywoman Kathleen Depoorter reacted: “We were too generous and we didn’t really target who we were going to give help to. Solidarity is not given to everyone”, did she say. According to her, some people who will be able to benefit from this aid package do not really need it. “The Vivaldi forgot that solidarity must be reimbursed. That’s the problem.”
“Now we are at this: historic deficit, exploding debts… We risk missing 280 million euros from the European Commission’s Recovery Fund since we have not carried out any reform. The situation is really serious “, continues Kathleen Depoorter. A study by the National Bank and the University of Ghent has also shown that middle and wealthy households have deposited the money from these aids in a savings account.
A tax reduction
The solution, for MP N-VA, would be their bill which aims to be able to deduct 500 euros from taxes per household for everyone. “We were going to reach people who work and pay taxes”she insists. “Because it’s the people who pay the taxes who are now going to pay back everything you’ve wasted.”
Words that do not make everyone agree, in particular Pierre-Yves Demargne, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Labor, also present on the set of It’s not every day on Sunday. The socialist recalls that the Vilvaldi has set up “aid mechanisms which are for some targeted and effective.” He speaks in particular of the social energy tariff for gas and electricity. “This mechanism takes everyone’s situation into account and we should have been able to extend it”he said.
He continues with the basic package of 196 euros (gas + electricity): “It was necessary for those who do not benefit from the social tariff, who are just above and who have insufficiently indexed income in relation to the increase in energy costs which weigh more in the budget.” Pierre-Yves Dermagne recognizes, however, that he had pleaded for something more targeted and limited, but some, within Vivaldi, wanted uniform aid for everyone.
