After a solid season concluded in the Conference semi-finals against a slightly too manly Heat, the Knicks return to battle with an almost unchanged group. Josh Hart took the blind, Obi Toppin the train towards Indianapolis, and it is with a Playoffs goal that New York leaves once again, with a Brunson / Randle / Barrett trio, two of whom will have enriched their experience of a World Cup with their country. Shall we take a look at the 2023-24 calendar in the Big Apple?
# Plus long road-trip : five games from November 13 to 20 (Boston, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington and Minneapolis) then five games again a month later, from December 13 to 20 (Jazz, Suns, Clippers, Lakers and Nets).
# Longest home session: six games from January 30 to February 10 (Jazz, Pacers, Lakers, Grizzlies, Mavs and again Pacers).
# National broadcast matches (TNT + ESPN + ABC): 25, a big market and eastern conference sponsored figure.
# Number of games played back-to-back: 13, medium low
# Matches at French times for the Knicks: 9, almost the franchise that we will see the most early.
# A few posters to remember: we have already circled in red the revenge of the last Playoffs against the Cavs (October 31, November 1 and March 3), and that against the Heat (November 24, January 27 and April 2). The NYCico against the Nets will take place on December 20 and January 23 in Brooklyn then on March 23 and April 12 at the Madison, while Trae Young will try to air-condition the room on March 5. The Knicks will host Milwaukee for Christmas Day, the Magic for MLK Day (January 15) and the Nets, Nuggets and Heat at the end of January for Rivals Week. Finally, note that as part of the In-Season Tournament, the Knicks will travel to Milwaukee and Washington and receive Miami and Charlotte, all in November. Ride youth!
