Olancho FC and Real España were eliminated in the group stage of the Copa Centroamericana; Olympia is still alive.
Two new qualifiers for the quarterfinals of the 2023 Central American Cup were announced this Thursday. One of them was Motagua, who confirmed his attendance after Alexander López’s exceptional goal for the Alajuelense Sports League.
Of eight clubs that were seeking a ticket to the quarterfinal round, five yao made their attendance official for the round that will have direct elimination in round-trip matches.
In group “A” four teams remain alive fighting for the first two places and where Saprissa is the leader after adding seven points. Jocoro from El Salvador no longer has options.

Finally, in group D everything is decided with the great victory of Alajuelense from Costa Rica over San Miguelito, who had slight hopes, but the great goal from Catracho Alex López sentenced everything. In addition, Motagua also signed his passport, leaving Olancho FC and Verdes without opportunities.
