Shenzhen, China, Oct. 6, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — SHENZHEN, China, Nov. 6, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Huawei announced the 57 winners of the XMAGE prices 2023 known. The competition, which focuses on photos taken with Huawei devices, recognized three Grand Prize winners, 17 category winners, 34 runner-up winners and three honorable mentions.
This year’s winners were selected from over 600,000 entries received between April 7 and August 15 from participants in nearly 100 countries. After China, the top five contributing countries were Malaysia, Turkey, Poland, the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates. The most popular mobile phone models were the Huawei P60 Pro, the Huawei P40 Pro and the Huawei Mate 40 Pro.
The three Grand Prize-winning photos that won the hearts of the jury:
“Dragon Clouds” by Domcar Calinawan Lagto from the Philippines, “Airshow” by Piotr Cebula from Poland and “Fearless Eagle” by Dou Chuanli from China received the Grand Prize. Each winner will receive $10,000 (before taxes) from the XMAGE Creation Fund to support his photography and encourage him to continue using Huawei devices in the future.

New categories inspire spectacular creativity
This year’s competition featured a range of categories including Night Walk, Portrait, Art & Fashion, Outdoor, Hello Life, Storyboard, Action and Storytelling. New categories have been added to help participants unleash their creativity and showcase their unique perspectives.
The top 17 category winners and 34 runner-up winners were selected from each category and will receive $1,500 and $1,000 respectively from the XMAGE Creation Fund.
