Gregory Jackson II is a pure product of South Carolina. Originally from Ridgeview, he embodies the region. Having played basketball in all his respective schools, he was always considered a dominant player possessing high-flying stats. Averaging double-doubles since college, he’s been ranked as five star rookie and it was with fervor and impatience that college basketball fans awaited his choice.
Top prospect in the region, he decides at first to engage with UNC much to the chagrin of all of South Carolina. Rejecting offers from Duke and Georgetown, he wanted more than anything to stay in his native region. Nevertheless, GG Jackson does not do things like the others, like a certain… JR Smith. GG Jackson’s defensive potential could lead the Jazz to seriously consider the profile of the young player.
