The Playoffs are in full swing but the NBA has not completely closed the regular season chapter yet. This week, we should know the identity of four winners of the season’s trophies.
Judgment time is approaching for Season Rewards. If the debate remains lively for many of them, we should soon know more. The NBA announced this Sunday evening that it would formalize the winners of four categories this week, namely: Defender of the Year (Monday), Most Clutch Player (Tuesday), Coach of the Year (Wednesday) and Sixth Man of the Year (Thursday).

We quickly recall the candidates for the different categories. Evan Mobley, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Brook Lopez are vying for the DPOY, De’Aaron Fox, Jimmy Butler and DeMar DeRozan for the title of clutch man, Mike Brown seems to have a head start on Joe Mazzulla and Mark Daigneault at the coaches. Finally, Malcolm Brogdon is the favorite of the bench leaders against Bobby Portis and Immanuel Quickley.
It will then remain to decide for the title of Rookie of the year, even if Paolo Banchero seems to have a boulevard towards the trophy but especially the fight for the MVP. Joel Embiid remains the favorite of the bookmakers but there is never a surprise when it comes to the season’s rewards. Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo are waiting for that.
