Sega’s blue hedgehog Sonic had a lot to do in 2022: I have here on the blog, for example „Sonic Frontiers“ tested, but also “Sonic: Origins” appeared for common platforms and then there was also the second movie plus a fresh series on Netflix. The head of the Sonic Team at Sega has now confirmedthat you don’t want to let up in 2023 and that there is also a big year ahead for the hedgehog.
2022 was an incredibly active year for Sonic. Several free DLCs for “Sonic Frontiers” are planned for 2023. In addition, there had already been leaks for several new Lego sets related to Sega’s mascot. What else could come up? This is currently open, so we should wait for more concrete announcements.
My personal highlight about Sonic was perhaps even the guest appearance of Ugly Sonic in “Chip and Dale: The Knights of Law”. I highly recommend!
